Trim My Crib™ is a design-build interior detail company in Venice, FL, known for custom media walls, accent walls, accent ceilings and outdoor wood ceilings.
Two popular Southwest Florida directions solve different goals.
Floating surrounds
Floating wood or panel surrounds emphasize lightness. They suit rooms that already have enough visual weight in furniture or views. Cable paths tuck behind the float; a console can carry remotes without a full hearth.
Fireplace media stacks
Linear electric fireplaces add ambiance and a vertical axis. They help tall walls feel intentional and give evening gatherings a glowing center. They also demand earlier decisions about proportions and clearances.
Choosing without pressure
If you love both, bring photos of rooms you admire—not as copies, but as clues. Trim My Crib™ can sketch options against your actual wall.
