Canal-front living puts water views and lanai time at the center of daily life. Indoor media walls should complement that—not wrestle the sunset for attention.
Trim My Crib™ is a design-build interior detail company in Venice, FL, known for custom media walls, accent walls, accent ceilings and outdoor wood ceilings.
Orient to the canal honestly
Sometimes the television sits on a side wall so conversation still faces water. Sometimes a slight angle beats a head-on glare fight. Bring furniture photos, not only empty-wall shots.
West-facing canal glass can be intense in late day. Plan seating and screen orientation together.
Outdoor evenings
Covered lanai TV walls are a frequent Cape Coral interest. Treat them as outdoor-capable designs, not interior plans moved under a roof.
