Storage should serve the room without turning the elevation into an office wall.
Closed versus open
Closed cabinets quiet clutter. Open shelves display books and objects. Many successful walls mix both.
What must live near the TV
Remotes, sound equipment, games, and spare cables need planned homes. List them before sketching pretty niches you will stuff later.
Depth and circulation
Deep boxes eat living space. In condos especially, slim depth with smarter organization beats monumental wings.
